About Kathryn Dominguez

Kathryn Dominguez teaches in the Department of Economics and the Ford School of Public Policy, and also serves as Director of the Post-Crisis Global Financial Flows Research Program in the International Policy Center. Her research interests include topics in international financial markets and macroeconomics. She taught at Harvard prior to moving to Michigan in 1997, and has held visiting appointments at Princeton, the London School of Economics and UC Berkeley. She is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research and has worked as a research consultant for the Federal Reserve System, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University.
