Audio Visual Editing Suites
Post-production: Ten Video & Audio Editing Suites
The Media Center has 10 video and audio edit rooms outfitted with Apple Mac Pro computers, Dual Quad processors, dual Cinema displays and a wide array of Standard Definition (DV) and High Definition (HD) equipment. All of the computer systems in these rooms have both basic and professional editing software, along with tools for video animation, audio recording and post-production, and image design. Our editing rooms are also equipped for DVD authoring and creating web-related media projects.
LSA faculty, staff and UM students enrolled in LSA courses can use our editing suites after first attending one of our orientation/editing workshops. Faculty members who want their students to use the Media Center's facilities to complete course projects need to contact Ralph Franklin - ralphf@umich.edu - before the beginning of the term to discuss availability and scheduling.
If you have any questions or would like to know more about the ISS Media Center's poet-production facilities, please email lsa-iss-media@umich.edu.
To reserve an edit room, please telephone (734) 763-1104. Please note that the ISS Media Center does not except email reservations.
