Honors In Florence, Spring term 2010- Information Session

10/20/2009

Spend the spring half-term in Florence and environs, living in an Italian villa and studying the interplay of art, culture, and science in Renaissance Florence. The Honors in Florence program combines the best of on-site study, fascinating site visits, vigorous discussion and living experience in the Tuscan spring. Students and faculty from UM, UW-Madison and Florence join to study Galileo, the Art and Culture of Renaissance Florence, and the connections between them.

Information session: Tuesday, November 3, 4:30-5:30, Honors Lounge (1330 Mason Hall). Hear more about the courses and the site visits, the villa and its surroundings, meet students who have attended in the past, and the instructor for the prep mini-course in Winter term. Interested but can’t come? Email Dr. Wessel Walker, dlww@umich.edu. Application deadline: December 4, 2009
