Academic Advising Home

You can find several sources for Advising within the University and LHSP.

For academic advising, students should contact the academic advising unit within the college that they are enrolled, e.g., LSA, Engineering, Nursing, Kinesiology. LSA provides an on-site academic advisor at Alice Lloyd Hall. Robyn Hampton is the LSA advisor; her office is room # 2053 on the second floor near the front desk and her hours are posted on the door.

In addition, Housing provides an Academic Peer Advisor (APA) who also maintains office hours in the residence hall, room # 2053, whose hours are posted on the door. The APA is trained in helping students with academic issues and provides resources for a variety of learning centers on campus.

The LHSP RAs and the LHSP Student Assistants are also available for mentoring and answering questions about campus resources and student life. These student leaders can be found in and around the residence hall or by a quick email.
