Payment of ECPE Examination Fees

Note: This page is for Exam Centers only. It is not for those taking the test.

Local test centers are responsible for any exchange rate fees, bank charges, wiring charges, taxes, and for the cost of mailing or shipping the completed exam materials to ELI-UM. Centers may assess examinees a modest surcharge to offset these administrative and mailing costs.

  • Fees for all examinees should be consolidated into a single payment. Do not send separate payments for each examinee.
  • Pay the entire amount in U.S. funds.
  • Make checks payable to the "University of Michigan."
  • Do not send cash, travelers' checks, or Eurochecks.
  • DO NOT send credit card information by email or by email attachment. The English Language Institute DOES NOT process fees in this manner.
  • Put the Invoice with the check, credit card information, or wire information in the envelope provided by ELI-UM and send it with the package of test materials. Send fees by one of the following methods:
  1. Check from a bank account in the United States.
  2. Credit Card (you must provide the following information on the invoice: Card Name (Visa or MasterCard only); Name of Cardholder (clearly printed); Account Number; Expiration Date.
  3. Bank Wire directly to our bank. Payment must be converted into U.S. funds before wiring. Amount received must equal the total payment due exactly. Please note that it is the centers' responsibility to pay any and all fees charged for the transaction by the sending or routing banks. For bank wire information, contact Ericka Finley, cember@umich.edu (734.615.9636), or Amanda Wells, amawells@umich.edu (734.615.9417).
