Good Luck in all of your future endeavors. We will miss having you on campus.

He works there as a Satellite Operator for the United States Air Force. He is a 1st Lt. focusing on his family, health, and spirituality. Phillip feels that he is truly living the American Dream.
Best wishes to you and your wife and thank you for filling out a spotlight on student success form.
Nate Minnick, CSP Alum, May 2006
B.S. in Biology and minor in History of Art
Nate began U of M in the College of Engineering in 2001. After a summer job working in the St. John Hospital (Detroit) Emergency Department, he decided to enter LSA and pursue a degree in Biology. In Engineering, he had not found a field which created a drive for inspirational study. In LSA, he discovered a passion for Biology and History of Art (so to those undeclared: choose a major of something you want to learn about!). Nate tutored Biology courses with CSP, and tried to create a deeper interest in Biology to those he taught. In 2006, Nate graduated from LSA with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in History of Art. He now attends the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. He would like to thank the CSP staff, his academic advisor-Michele Ruffino, his Biology GSI- Laury Woods, his English 225 instructor-Dr. Randy Tessier, and his History of Art Professor- Dr. David Doris for helping him accomplish his undergraduate goals. Nate always remembers the fun he had in class with Dr. Tessier. After graduation from medical school, he plans on returning to Detroit to for Residency.
*I contacted Nate in the wake of the Virginia Tech Tragedy because I saw him featured on Channel 4 in Detroit in an interview with Broadcaster, Hank Winchester. Nate and his fellow medical students were called upon after the tragedy to help in counseling the Virginia Tech community.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the Virginia Tech Tragedy.
