Spotlight on "Student Success 2006" - "Joseph Fakhoury" (November 2006)
“Joseph Fakhoury”
CSP Pre-Health Peer Advisor
Joseph is an LS&A Junior concentrating in Neuroscience. He is a member of the University of Michigan Mentoring Program as well as a Peer Mentor for K-Grams, and an Alice Lloyd Swing Kid. Joseph is an avid Detroit Red Wings Fan, loves music, hanging out with his friends and just plain relaxing in front of the TV.
However, as a pre-med student he is very busy with his studies and pre-professional activities. This year he is involved in Students Taking Action against Neurological Disorders (STAND), here at U of M. Joseph is a Peer Mentor for the Health Science Scholars Program (HSSP) in Alice Llyod Hall, an active member of the Pre-Med Club, and an active volunteer at the U of M Hospital - Trauma Burn Unit. Needless to say, he is an eclectic guy and very down to earth. Make sure you stop by to meet him and to ask him your pre-health questions.
