About Sarah Goodwin Sarah joined the ELI as a research assistant in July 2005. Her work includes editing and tracking test items, scoring compositions, proctoring exams, and conducting language assessment research. At Michigan, she studied linguistics with a minor in Spanish, and she performed in the Michigan Marching Band trumpet section for four years. Outside of her work at the ELI, she teaches an English conversation class with a volunteer program in nearby Ypsilanti, Michigan. Sarah enjoys reading, cooking and dining, going to concerts, and watching sports (especially Michigan football).
