About Charlotte
Fauman
Charlotte came to ELI in April of 2002. As a meeting and events coordinator she provides event planning and support services for the GSI educational programs, Kyushu International Program, Migrant Worker Program and Summer Programs in EAP, EBS, and ELS. She corresponds and arranges a variety of accommodations for ELI visiting scholars, Fulbright scholars, Morley Scholars and guest speakers. She has a great time every year getting to know our international students and making them feel welcome to the university community. Charlotte has degree in theatre from Wayne State University. She loves theatre and is a puppeteer. She and her husband created a traveling puppet theatre in 1979 called the Mask Puppet Theatre. In 1995 the Detroit News gave she and her husband the Michiganian of the Year award for public service.
