The following is a collection of links to resources at the University of Michigan that will be useful to students enrolled in the Mass Communication Ph.D. Program.

    CTools *

CTools is UM's online system for research, project and course management. The Deparment of Communication Studies maintains the Comm Ph.D. CTools site. This site is the primary location where graduate students in the program can stay up to date with what is happening in the department, find forms and handbooks, view external job postings, and access other resources needed as a part of day to day life in the program.

Rackham Office of Academic Records and Dissertations *

Academic Records and Dissertations (OARD) provides information and services to students from their first registration through the final stages of the degree process. OARD staff work with students and with departmental faculty and staff to ensure an accurate record of each student's academic experience. They also assist in the interpretation of Rackham policies relating to the student's record and monitor each student through the degree-granting process.

    Rackham Fellowships Office *

The Fellowships Office provides current and prospective students with fellowship opportunities, program information and intellectual support as one of the student service units of the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies.

The Office of the Registrar *

The Office of the Registrar's web site includes information on the following subjects: academic calendar, final exams, residency, schedule of classes, student rights and records, transcripts, and tuition and fees.

The Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT) *

CRLT is part of the Provost's Office and works with faculty, GSIs, and academic administrators in all nineteen schools and colleges to support and enhance learning and teaching at U-M.

    The International Center *

The U-M International Center provides a variety of services to assist international students, scholars, faculty and staff at the University of Michigan, as well as U-M American students seeking opportunities to study, work, or travel abroad.

    Office of the Ombuds *

The Ombuds office is a place where student questions, complaints and concerns about the functioning of the University can be discussed confidentially in a safe environment.

Diversity Research and Resources at U-M *

News, research, and resources related to diversity issues.

Office of Services for Students with Disabilities *

OSSD assists students in negotiating disability-related barriers to the pursuit of their education.

Information Technology Central Services (ITCS) *

ITCS supports your learning, research, teaching, and productivity needs, both on- and off-campus. We encourage you to take advantage of this great information technology environment at your fingertips.

    M-File *
