ECCE
Examination for the Certificate of Competency in English
This test is intended for learners who have acquired an intermediate competence in English as a second or foreign language. It is used to measure achievement, or for employment or promotion purposes. The ECCE is offered twice each year, in May and in December, at the 100-plus ELI-UM testing centers around the world. The exam is not offered in the United States or Canada.

The ECPE is used to test individuals with advanced proficiency in English as a second or foreign language. It is usually used to gain entry to higher education or to improve job opportunities. The ECPE is offered twice each year in the 100-plus ELI-UM testing centers around the world. The exam is not offered in the United States or Canada.

MELAB
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery
The MELAB is meant for the assessment of adult non-native speakers who need to use English for academic purposes at the college and university level. It is intended for students applying to universities in the United States and Canada as an alternative to the TOEFL or IELTS. It is administered in the United States and Canada on numerous occasions throughout the year.
