About Michael Elsby

Mike Elsby's research has concentrated primarily on the interface between labor and macro- economics. Past work has related the observed downward rigidity of nominal wages to workers' aversion to wage cuts, both as a theoretical and an empirical issue. He has also studied the theoretical implications of costly adjustment of labor and capital.
