On Monday, November 9th from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. the University of Michigan German Club and the Max Kade German Residence Community will erect a simple replica of the Berlin Wall on the brick portion of the Diag directly in front of the Hatcher Graduate Library in order to mark the 20th anniversary of its Fall on the night of November 8/9, 1989.

The wall will be 'decorated' on the west side and the east side will have a commemoration to those who tried to cross the Wall. Visitors will be allowed to write messages on the west side of the wall. The work will be donated to the German Department.
