About Barbara Rose Barb joined the Testing Division of the English Language Institute as the MELAB Coordinator in April 2005. She is responsible for coordinating and implementing operational activities of the MELAB testing program. Prior to coming to ELI, she coordinated the Technical Education Program at General Motors’ Willow Run facility; she also assisted Cindy Gould, processing incoming foreign undergraduate students at the university. She received a BS in library science from Southern State College. When not at ELI, Barbara is kept busy with her horses, dogs, and cats.
