For each grammar topic, it includes a summary, a detailed explanation with extensive, sometimes tongue-in-cheek examples, practice exercises, and diagnostic exercises which students can use to see if they have mastered the topic.

Numerous other resources, such as a series of video lectures on first year German, an online flashcard program, an extensive annotated link list, advice on learning strategies, are available via the German 101-326 website.
