All candidates who take the ECCE receive an Examination Report that shows their overall performance as well as the levels for each test section. Candidates are given these results so that they know the areas in which they are doing well and those in which they need to improve.
On the Examination Report, the following information is provided:
- The result for the ECCE (Pass/Fail);
- Section results with a brief description of the candidate's performance.
The five levels of performance, from highest to lowest, are:
- High Pass
- Pass
- Low Pass
- Borderline fail
- Fail
The first three are passing levels that meet or exceed the standard for the ECCE, and the last two are failing levels that are below the standard for the ECCE.
