Fields of Study
Paleomagnetism of sediments and history of the geomagnetic field,
magnetostratigraphy, applications of rock magnetism and paleomagnetism to
geological problems. Recent projects include magnetostratigraphy in intermontane
basins in northern Tibet and in loess, rock magnetism and magnetostratigraphy of
Equatorial, Pacific deep-sea sediments, use of Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility to
infer strain and fabric development in rocks, magnetoarchaeology.
