Adrianne Haggins, CSP Alum, Bridge 1997,
BA in Psychology, May 2001.
Adrianne received her M.D. in May 2007 from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. During the summer she moved to Chicago, IL to begin her residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Chicago. Adrianne states, ” When I meet young people bound for the University of Michigan, I eagerly tell them about my time at U of M and the support and friendships that developed out of Bridge and the CSP office. It truly enriched my experience at U of M and hopefully in my upcoming career. “ Thank you Adrianne for keeping in touch with us and sharing your success!
Carl Edward Jones, Jr., CSP Graduate

Carl has moved to Boulder, Colorado to work for Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp. He is working in the Operational Space Department as an Associate Spacecraft Systems Integration and Test Engineer. Carl plans to continue his education. He will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado. He is happy to report that his company is paying him to earn his Ph.D.
Morgan A. Pierce, CSP Grad, Bridge 2003
B.A. in Spanish, May 2007
Morgan is an alum of Bridge 2003. This past summer she was one of our Summer Bridge Peer Advisors. During her junior and senior year at Michigan she served as a Resident Advisor. She was a member of the Caribbean Peoples Association and the Black Pre-Medical Association. Morgan is currently attending Tufts Dental School in Boston, Massachusetts, where she received a Deans’ Scholarship.
Morgan says, "Boston is a great city. I spend a majority of my time studying and making friends. I have yet to get out into the city and explore Boston as much as I would like to. I am currently involved in several dental organizations such as: Student National Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, and American Association of Women in Dentistry. I’m taking classes in: Dental Anatomy, Nutrition, Gross Anatomy, Biochemistry, Dental Ethnics, Operative Dentistry, Craniofacial Function, and Biomaterials."
Myra Marie Tetteh, CSP Grad,
B.A. in Political Science & Sociology, May 2007
Myra is continuing her education at the University of Michigan-School of Public Health in the Health Management and Policy Program, which is the number one Health Management and Policy Program in the country. Myra is also pursuing a certificate program at the Ford School of Public Policy in the Science, Technology, and Public Policy Program. Currently, Myra serves as the Financial Manager for the Public Health Students of African Descent (PHSAD) Organization, also Myra is in Public Health Action Support Team (PHAST), which travels to different locations nationally and internationally to help implement public health activities. Myra continues to remain active in other campus organizations, such as the Michigan Gospel Chorale.
