Special Programs

Each year the U-M Exhibit Museum of Natural History collaborates with dozens of regional libraries to offer a Winter Family Reading and Science Program.

Special programs for children and adults

The Exhibit Museum offers a variety of special programs:

  • Weekend Dinosaur Tours:  Free to the first 15 visitors to sign up every Saturday and Sunday.
  • Birthday Parties: Choose between "Dino-Mite" and "Out of This World" themes.
  • Scout Programs:  The Museum works with local councils to offer scouts special event patches and workshops related to the natural sciences.
  • Winter Family Reading & Science Program:  Libraries in local counties partner with the Museum to offer a coordinated series of topical hands-on workshops, family reading programs, and a Discovery Day designed to facilitate science learning within families.
  • Summer Camp:  Our popular camps are offered in association with KidSport.
