Understanding Race School Mini-grant Application
These grants are made possible by a grant from the National Center for Institutional Diversity at the University of Michigan.
Funds Available: Up to $300 per school is available to support professional development, student programs, or parent and community programs (examples include performers, storytelling, literature nights, or professional development for teachers). The programs must promote dialogue and conversation on issues of race affecting the culture and climate of public schools in Washtenaw County. In general, these funds will cover up to 50% of the program cost, with exceptions for schools with high percentages of students on Free or Reduced Price Lunch Programs.
