Visiting the Race Exhibit

Race: Are we so different? is available for viewing during regular museum hours:

Monday - Saturday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Sunday from 12:00 - 5:00PM

Optimal weekday viewing hours are from 2:00 - 5:00PM after K-12 school groups have departed.

There is no admission charge for individuals or families to see the exhibit

School groups

Special Program: Let's Talk about Race

Grades: 5-12 Cost: $6 per person Available February 11 - May 24, 2013

Scholarships are available for all groups; please ask.

This program includes a one-hour reserved visit to the Race: Are we so different? exhibit and a 45-minute facilitated dialogue exploring the exhibit themes, students' personal experience related to race and racism, and the types of actions that can promote societal change.

Community groups

Community groups (of 10 or more) are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate in a facilitated dialogue. The program fee is $6 per person and includes reserved time in the gallery. After-hours visits are available for an additional charge.

We encourage college-level classes to visit the Race exhibit. Group dialogue facilitation is available on request and is strongly recommended.
