Drew began volunteering in the Mammal Division in March of 2014, during his final semester as a Michigan undergraduate. He has continued to volunteer in the mammal collection since graduation. Drew's experiences in his Mammalogy class ultimately led to his interests in helping with the mammal collection, and it is because of his interests that he has become a crucial asset to progressing on projects during the summer months. A graduate of Michigan's Ecology and Evolution Biology (EEB) program, Drew has been an active member in the research lab of EEB faculty member, Elizabeth Tibbetts, since he was Freshman. A Wisconsin native, Drew hopes to use his experiences while at UM in graduate school.
"My favorite aspect of working here is learning about the different mammal morphologies. I hope the experience garned here will transfer into further research."
