Carlos Roberto Vásquez Almazán
As a part of studies in the PhD program at Posgrado en Ciencias Biologicas at UNAM, a morphological study of the Plectrohyla guatemalensis group frogs from Guatemala and Chiapas is being conducted. The UMMZ houses many important type specimens for this group. Also, certain specimens from Guatemala will be examined as part of ongoing conservation research efforts.
