Biol 288 students arrive at the BRC parking lot at Varsity Drive for their

Students meet with their host, Greg Schneider, Collections Manager

of the Division of Reptiles and Amphibians , who introduces them to

amphibian diversity using examples from the research collection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The field trip includes a tour of the collection facilities.  Greg shows the class

that some of the larger amphibian specimens are stored in new stainless

steel tanks, such as this Giant Salamander.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Students have an opportunity to ask questions about amphibians

while toruring the UMMZ world class collection.
