Texas Tech Student Examines Mammal Specimens

Howie Huynh

Texas Tech University graduate student, Howie Huynh, visited the research collections of the UMMZ Mammal Division to collect data for various ongoing research projects in mammalian systematics and evolution.  Howie is a PhD student working under the direction of renowned mammalogist, Dr. Robert Baker.  Howie's dissertation research is focused on the speciation dynamics and modes of evolution in the deer mice (genus Peromyscus).
