Research Scholars Program
Application Deadline Extended to April 15th!
Complete this application to be considered for admission to UROP's Research Scholars Program for the 2009-10 academic year. You are ELIGIBLE to participate in this program if:
- You are now completing your first year in UROP, and
- You will be a second year student on the Ann Arbor campus in Fall 2009

Program Information
Requirements for the Research Scholars include:
- Attendance at bi-weekly research seminars
- Reading and journal writing assignments
- Mandatory monthly meetings with your UROP Peer Advisor
- Participation in our annual Research Forum at the end of Winter Term
- Creation of an Academic Plan
- Creation of an e-Porfolio
Research seminars will be held on Wednesdays during the late afternoon or early evening time period (specific time to be determined). On alternate weeks, UROP sponsors research skill building workshops and/or Research Scholar related events. Scholars are required to be active in the program and to participate in these events. All Research Scholars are REQUIRED to attend seminars. Failure to attend seminars will result in dismissal from the program.
