Apply to become a UROP Peer Advisor
UROP Peer Advisors serve as a liaison and program guide for UROP students. In this capacity, peer advisors recruit and advise prospective UROP student researchers, conduct enrollment and other workshops, help students find research projects, share information about academic and other campus resources, serve as a liaison between student researchers and faculty mentors, and plan programs for and facilitate research seminars for their peer group. Other responsibilities include giving presentations about UROP, and helping with program-wide activities such as the annual Spring Research symposium. UROP peer advisors also serve as UROP ambassadors at high schools, for campus recruitment events, and on panels to promote the benefits of UROP to students, faculty, alumni, and potential donors.
