Summer Opportunities
Are you ready for an extended research experience? One that is challenging and lets you work more independently?
Summer research internships are available to students and provide full time research opportunities for undergraduates in a wide variety of academic disciplines. Summer research opportunities are sponsored by a variety of government agencies and private research centers.
UROP sponsors a several summer research fellowships. Read more about UROP sponsored Summer Research Fellowships
For non UROP sponsored programs, including programs offered on the UM campus, across the U.S. and internationally, consult the UROP Summer Research Internship Database (SRID) available through your UROP Ctools website.
The UM Career Center is a rich resource for students wanting help to identify summer internships, to create a resume, and to contact employers. The Career Center maintains a database of internships that can be accessed by students. These internship listings tend to be less research oriented and more business related. The center is located on the third floor of the Student Activities Building.
