From Michigan to Ho Chi Minh

After her first year at U-M, Ann Duong decided to venture outside of the classroom—way out. The Zeeland, Michigan native wanted to pursue her academic interests in economics and health and development in another part of the world. And so she sought an internship in Vietnam—a place to which she was connected through family, but which she desired to explore in her own way.
