  • About

    Jeff joins the Newnan advising team as a general advisor following a military career during which he served internationally in Europe, Korea, Canada, and on multiple deployments to both Western and South Asia.  Most recently, he was a lecturer in the Department of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College while also providing academic advising to graduate students enrolled in the National Security Studies program.  Jeff also previously served as a guidance counselor and advisor at West Point and as an instructor at the Canadian Army Staff College located in Kingston, Ontario.

    Originally from Central Illinois, Jeff's education includes a B.A. in History along with teacher certification from Western Illinois University and an M.S. Ed with concentration in College Student Development from Long Island University.  He is an avid hockey fan and enjoys skating, fishing, reading, and discussing U.S. foreign policy and related national security topics.
