  • Description:

We will discuss our research agenda on population-level approaches to improving mental health among college students and other adolescent and young adult populations.  This research includes: 1) large-scale epidemiological studies of mental health symptoms and service utilization; 2) analysis of the economic returns to investing in mental health programs and services for these populations; and, 3) development and evaluation of innovative population-level interventions.  We will also describe a national research-practice network, the Healthy Minds Network (, which serves as an umbrella for this research and a mechanism by which to translate it into practice.
