65 undergraduates graduate in 2014 with majors and minors in Linguistics
Text: On May 2, 2014, the Linguistics Department celebrated with many of the 65 majors and minors graduating this year and their friends and families.  As a Department, we are proud of all of our graduates, their many accomplishments while they are with us and the exciting adventures upon which many are about to embark.  Here are a few of the exciting next steps for our grads (and recent grads)

Amelie Chenet-Smith is going to be in the JET program teaching English in Japan.

Allison Coligado will begin an audiology program at Rush University.

Amy Hemmeter graduated in 2013 and will begin a Masters program in Linguistics at North Carolina State University.

Sarah Harper will be teaching in Spain for the year.

Rebecca Howe will being a speech pathology program at Eastern Michigan University.

Erin Huffnagle will be working with AmeriCorps in the Western U.S.

Sarah Garvey graduated in 2013 will be going to Africa to work with a group that integrates art therapies into children's lives.

Kohlee Kennedy (grad last year and Program Assistant for Ling 111 NINI project) is doing a Masters in Asian Languages and Cultures here, specializing in the Thai language, supported by a FLAS fellowship.

John Li will be starting at the the Ross Business School just across the courtyard from Lorch.

Tesnime Selmane will begin Masters program in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences at Purdue.

Alyson Shore will begin Masters program in Speech-Language Pathology at MGH (Massachusetts General Hospital) Institute.

Maryam Sefeldin is going to a Ph.D. program in Brain & Cog Science at the University of Rochester.

Erica Seifert will be going on to Northwestern's Masters program in Speech, Language, and Learning.

Katherine Sherbin will begin Masters program in Speech & Hearing Sciences at George Washington University.

Robin Stein: Emerson College's Masters program in Communication Sciences & Disorders.
