Several CSEAS students had their photos chosen for inclusion in the International Institute's annual Photo Competition. Each year, students who travel abroad are invited to submit their photos to the International Institute. Today's opening ceremony revealed several photos from students who had travelled to Southeast Asia, including Nathan Oppenheim (Architecture), Dominic Nardi (Political Science), and Scott McLoughlin (Anthropology).
Nathan Oppenheim's photo, "Map Readers" was taken in Jakarta on a summer research trip. He won first prize in the theme category. This year's theme was "Diversity." Nathan also submitted photos taken in Bangkok.
Dominic Nardi submitted photos taken in Indonesia, and Scott McLoughlin submitted photos from the Philippines.
The photo exhibit will remain up for the month of January.
