  • Description:

    Clifton Monteith is a local artist who specializes in Japanese lacquerware. He undertook a major restoration project of a traditional Burmese harp. The harp has been generously donated to UMMA by alumna Patricia Matusky-Yamaguchi, and will be on display during his talk. Co-sponsored by the University of Michigan Museum of Art and the Center for Japanese Studies.
