Kayti Lausch is a third year doctoral student. She received her B.A. from Cornell University in American Studies in 2009, and her M.A. in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. Her research considers how industrial changes within the US television industry since 1970 and shifts in the American religious landscape determined how religion is represented on television (specifically on explicitly religious or spiritual channels), and how the work of religious broadcasters has, in turn, affected how the television industry operates.
