Aslam Hidayat and Heni, union leaders and former Adidas workers at PT Kizone, an Adidas supplier factory in Indonesia, speak about their struggle to force Adidas to pay $1.8 million in legally owed stolen severance pay to the 2,800 former workers at PT Kizone, whoe factory shut down over a year ago. Students will use this event to bolster their campaign to get President Coleman to put University of Michigan's contract with Adidas on notice, as the violations at PT Kizone constitute a violation of the university's labor code of conduct for apparel production.
