  DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT SEPTEMBER 27, 2012!!!

  Highlight U-M student life and school spirit by creating a U-M inspired parody of the viral hit music video "Gangnam Style" 
  and win $750 for your U-M student group!

  Create a video parody of PSY's hit music video "Gangnam Style". Check out this playlist to see the original and a selection of parodies that it has inspired! 
  
  
  Who is eligible?
  Any U-M student group with a SOAS account.
  
  What do you win?
  A $750 cash prize deposited directly into the groups' SOAS account.
  How to Win:
  We want you to showcase your student group's individual perspective on life at U-M and create an original, humorous, dance filled video.

  Any U-M student group with a SOAS account.

  A $750 cash prize deposited directly into the groups' SOAS account.
  

  Rules:

  1. Gather the members of your student group and plan your own Gangnam Style parody

  2. Film and edit your parody video to the full length of the song "Gangnam Style" by PSY (4:13) (You can make up your own lyrics).

  3. Your parody video MUST INCLUDE a 10 sec shot of your Student Group name at the end.

  4. Upload your parody video onto YouTube

  5. Send the video's YouTube link with the completed entry form and a cast list (word doc attachment) to outreachkorea@umich.edu by MIDNIGHT September 27, 2012 .

  6. Submissions will be screened at the Nam Center's Chuseok Party on Sat Sept 29th 1:30-4:00 pm and the winning entry will be screened during A2KIFF (details given at Chuseok Party).
  
  

  The entries will be narrowed to the top 5 videos based on popular vote during the Chuseok Party. These final entries will be judged by a panel of Nam Center faculty. Each video will be judged on how well it captures the spirit and theme of Gangnam Style, represents U-M, and reflects the group's activities. Entry of video will be deemed consent for its use, at the direction of the Nam Center, in advertisements, publications and/or Internet sites for the purpose of promoting the Nam Center for Korean Studies at the University of Michigan.
