A compilation of video projections from the installation King Anthracite. The filmmaker tries to construct a story about grandfather Kasimieras Kybartas, a Lithuanian who migrated to the coal fields of eastern Pennsylvania. The video consists of oral interviews, alarming turn of the century eugenics texts, and musings on historiography.
