    This talk will cover issues including:
    a) how eBooks are made -- their relationship to print book contents; their manufacture and possible formats; pricing; coming trends; longevity
    b) classroom use -- how and why they might be used, or why not  

    c) how to incorporate them, or live with them, in a research agenda -- stocking your research library; picking a format to buy; timing your purchase

    d) what they mean for you as an author:  image redaction, pro and con; pricing; effect on royalties; consortium purchases
