I am interested in the spatio-temporal dynamics of childhood diseases. My current research focuses on linking human demographic patterns, such as the timing and strength of birth seasonality, with the seasonal transmission of measles to better understand disease dynamics. Additionally, I hold an interest in the evolution and variation of Bordetella pertussis virulence genes on both spatial and temporal scales.
