Asia Law Society Symposium. "Corporate Law in Asia: The Frontier of Entrepreneurship"
While Asia's role in shaping the 21st century global economy has already been cemented, the nature and results of this change remain matters of endless speculation. The diversity of the regions countries and the complexity of their corresponding needs give rise to multiple Asian realities and multiple Asian possibilities. Even as Asia's corporations and legal markets are rooted in local custom and tradition, their status as global players and their various stages of development and openness create a constantly shifting ground upon which corporate law is developed and applied.
The symposium will address this shifting ground, with panels specific to Southeast Asia.
This event is sponsored by the Michigan Journal of Private Equity and Venture Capital Law.
