A Date with Cavafy: an open mic event at the University of Michigan to celebrate the Year of C. P. Cavafy!
Constantine P. Cavafy (b. April 29, 1863, d. April 29, 1933) is the most important Greek poet since antiquity and one of the greatest modern poets. On April 29, 2013, we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of Cavafy's birth and the 80th anniversary of his death with an open mic event. Come and make your own contribution to the celebration.
