  • Description: How do the laws of physics enforce the production of our universe and the subsequent formation of galaxies, stars, and planets, including some like our Earth? Starting with the laws of physics and the big bang event, we will see how this chain of creation ultimately produces the tiny chemical structures and vast celestial landscapes necessary for life to gain a foothold.

All talks are free and refreshments will be served. Visitor parking for the seminars (Central Campus) is across the street from the Dennison Building in the U-M Church Street structure. There is a $2.00 parking charge implemented by U-M Parking Services.
