- A specialist on Yoruba art and culture, Doris’ latest research deals with the moral and mnemonic function of assemblages of useless and discarded objects in contemporary Yoruba culture.
- Co-curator of "Masterworks of African Art: Yoruba," an exhibit of Nigerian culture at the UMMA.
