Professor Sharon Glotzer Elected to National Academy of Sciences
Sharon Glotzer was elected to the 2014 class of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). Scientists are elected to membership in the NAS in recognition of their distinguished and continuing achievements in original research. Professor Glotzer, the Stuart W. Churchill Collegiate Professor of Chemical Engineering, conducts research in the areas of computational nanoscience and simulation of soft matter, self-assembly and materials design. She is also is a professor of Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, and Macromolecular Science and Engineering.
