Congratulations to Alice Sullivan and Ashley Miller! 

Ashley Miller received the Tappan Award for Oustanding Achievement and Alice Sullivan received the Tappan Award for Outstanding Teaching.

Ashley Miller specializes in nineteenth-century French and North African art as well as Orientalism. She earned a BA in anthropology at the University of Chicago.

Alice Sullivan specializes in Medieval and Early Modern art and architecture from East-Central Europe. She earned an MA from Williams College and BA from Bowdoin College. Click here to read about her summer work in Romania.
