  • Description: We will survey the history of the proliferation of nuclear weapons since the end of World War II, emphasizing recent events. One important technical change has been the development of the ultra-centrifuge as a (relatively) inexpensive route to the production of fissionable material.

    All talks are free and refreshments will be served. Visitor parking for the seminars (Central Campus) is across the street from the Dennison Building in the U-M Church Street structure. There is a $2.00 parking charge implemented by U-M Parking Services.
