Maddock Lab Website
Dr. Maddock's research focuses on understanding basic developmental questions in microbes using a variety of approaches including molecular genetics, biochemistry, cell biology and proteomics. Two major areas are under study: (1) To understand how non-ribosomal proteins function in ribosome assembly, and (2) how asymmetry is established and maintained in bacteria.
Dr. Maddock earned her Ph.D. degree from Carnegie Mellon University and was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow and an American Cancer Society Fellow at Stanford University.
