Love and Honor is "the most maize and blue movie ever made," says executive producer and SAC alum Eddie Rubin.

What began as a screenplay, co-written by Screenwriting Coordinator Jim Burnstein and his partner Garrett K. Schiff, blossomed into a feature movie, involving numerous Screen Arts & Cultures alums, including director Danny Mooney and executive producor Eddie Rubin, two former SAC Majors/Michigan students who met in SAC 423, a course taught by Burnstein and Professor Robert Rayher. An army of U of M students, past and present, worked on this incredible project, which was shot on location in the Ann Arbor area and its surroundings.

Love and Honor tells the story of two young soldiers who go AWOL from Vietnam to Ann Arbor with the mission of one of the soldiers trying to win his girlfriend back at the University of Michigan after she has sent him a Dear John letter. It is set in the summer of 1969 at the height of the anti-war movement and the very week that man first walked on the moon.

Love and Honor stars Liam Hemsworth (Hunger Games), Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Austin Stowell (Dolphin Tale) and Aimee Teegarden (Friday Night Lights).
