    Professor Jackson conducts research in the areas of educational inequality, social inequality, and the sociology of labor markets.  She is the editor of Determined to Succeed?  Performance, Choice and Education (forthcoming from Stanford University Press) and has published in the Oxford Review of Education, the British Journal of Sociology, and the European Sociological Review.
